Cole Sands has been shut down from throwing after undergoing an MRI on Friday that revealed inflammation in the forearm. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Sands was pulled from his rehab assignment in early June after his strained forearm failed to recover as expected following an outing. He will rest before resuming his throwing program and has no timetable for a return.
