by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Mon, Jun 15th 6:33pm EDT

Eiberson Castellano has been optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque by the Colorado Rockies. The move was made as Victor Vodnik (elbow) was reinstated from the injured list. (Colorado Rockies on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Castellano made his only appearance - and his major league debut - on Sunday in the Rockies' 23-9 win over the Athletics. He recorded a three-inning save, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out two. Castellano was having a solid season in the minors, posting a 2.44 ERA in 59 innings between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Albuquerque. It's likely Castellano will return to Colorado at some point later in the year.
