Dillon Dingler collects two hits, scores three times in win over Astros
by Brenton Kemp | Tigers Correspondent | Tue, Jun 16th 4:44pm EDT
Tigers catcher Dillon Dingler went 2-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored in a 9-3 win over the Astros on Monday.
Fantasy Impact:
Don't look now, but that's back-to-back games with a triple for the Tigers' catcher, who is enjoying one of the better breakout seasons the majors has seen in 2026. The 27-year-old has 16 home runs, 36 runs scored, 50 RBI, and an .868 OPS while playing elite defense behind the plate. Those worried about regression will want to note that Dingler's .399 xwOBA is actually above his .374 wOBA, insisting luck has had nothing to do with his breakout campaign.
