Reid Detmers gets no-decision Sunday against Athletics

Reid Detmers allowed five runs on six hits, walked four, and struck out four over six innings in a no-decision on Sunday.

Detmers came back to Earth a little on Sunday as he entered the contest having allowed only one run in 20 innings over his previous three starts. The five runs he allowed on Sunday were the most since he gave up eight against the Athletics on May 19. Meanwhile, his four free passes were his most since walking six Blue Jays on May 8. Detmers is still having a great month of June, posting a 2.08 ERA with a 22:6 K:BB ratio in 26 innings across four starts. Overall, he is 3-5 with a 3.93 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 16 starts. He is scheduled to get the Athletics again on Saturday in his next outing.
