Tyler Phillips recorded his first quality start of the season in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Texas Rangers, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four over six innings.

Phillips threw a season-high 89 pitches and completed six innings for the first time this season. He bounced back nicely after allowing eight runs in his previous start against the Philadelphia Phillies. As a starter, Phillips owns a 4.94 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 19 strikeouts across 23.2 innings.
