Eury Perez throws 68 pitches in return Wednesday
by Nicholas Rodriguez | Marlins Correspondent | Thu, Jun 25th 4:57am EDT
Eury Perez allowed one run on three hits and one walk while striking out one across 4.2 innings in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Texas Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Perez made his return to the mound after being sidelined for roughly a month with a right gracilis strain. Despite recording just one strikeout, he looked sharp across 68 pitches, surrendering only a solo home run to Wyatt Langford in the fourth inning. He also touched 99.6 mph, a reassuring sign that his velocity remains intact. On the season, Perez owns a 4.41 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 73 strikeouts across 67.1 innings in 13 starts. He is lined up to take the mound on Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies.
