The Red Sox placed INF Marcelo Mayer on the 10-day injured list with a bone stress reaction to his left ulna.
Fantasy Impact:
Mayer had been playing through the injury the past two months. He'll now miss some time to get fully healthy. He does not hold a timetable to return.
