Nick Martinez allowed one run on six hits and no walks while striking out three across 5.2 innings in Friday's 6-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
Martinez snapped a streak of four straight outings allowing three or more earned runs with an impressive one-run performance, picking up the win in the process. While he finished June with a 5.14 ERA and 1.25 WHIP across five starts, he closed the month on a high note and still owns an impressive 2.66 ERA and 1.15 WHIP on the season. He'll look to carry that momentum into July in his next scheduled start on Thursday against the Kansas City Royals.
