The Mets optioned LHP Zach Thornton to Triple-A Syracuse.
Fantasy Impact:
Thornton allowed one run over six innings with seven strikeouts during a no-decision against the Phillies on Friday. He returns to Triple-A to make room for Christian Scott's return to the mound on Saturday.
