Blue Jays skipper John Schneider said Scherzer is feeling good and is playing catch on Monday with tentative plans to get off the mound on Tuesday. He was placed on the injured list on June 17 with back spasms and had a cortisone shot on Friday. The team is hopeful for an early July return for the decorated righty.
