Kevin Gausman hit with tough-luck loss Tuesday versus Mets

Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman pitched six innings of one-run ball, but took the loss on Tuesday against the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
Gausman issued a quality start on Tuesday, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks while striking out seven. Unfortunately, the Blue Jays were shut out by Nolan McLean over six innings, and the final three by the Mets' bullpen in a 3-0 Mets win. Nonetheless, the effort was encouraging for Gausman after he was shelled for 13 earned runs across eight innings in his previous two starts. He will take a 4.19 ERA into his next scheduled start, which is a favorable one on Monday against the Giants in San Francisco.
