Scott Barlow signs with Royals

Fantasy Impact:
Barlow was released by the Athletics this past week after he was designated for assignment and cleared waivers. The veteran reliever will now return to the organization with which he made his MLB debut back in 2018 and pitched for until being traded away in the middle of the 2023 season. Barlow did pick up a couple of saves for the Athletics earlier this season, but he struggled overall, posting a 6.48 ERA over 36 appearances.
