Austin Slater re-signs with Rays on minors pact

The Rays and outfielder Austin Slater have agreed to a minor league deal.
Fantasy Impact:
Slater elected free agency just last week after being designated for assignment by the Rays, but will return to the club on a minor league pact. He hit .231 without a homer and four stolen bases in 74 plate appearances for the Rays this season, but it's his work against left-handed pitching that will decide his future with the club.
