Ian Seymour allowed one run on three hits and one walk while striking out eight across six innings in Thursday's 5-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals.

Seymour surrendered a leadoff home run to Carter Jensen but settled in quickly, allowing just two more hits the rest of the way: a first-inning double to Lane Thomas and a sixth-inning single to Jac Caglianone. He struck out a season-high eight batters and has been dominant over his last two starts, allowing just one run while fanning 15 across 12.2 innings.
