Rangers right-hander Jacob Junis (hip) has been placed on the 15-day injured list, but the expectation is a minimum stay. (Jared Sandler on Twitter)

Junis also received an injection in his ailing hip, which the team hopes will help limit his absence to the minimum 15 days. The 33-year-old has been used in several roles this season and has thrived with a 2.80 ERA across 31 appearances, also locking down five saves in the process.
