Brandon Woodruff allowed three earned runs on two hits and one walk while striking out six over 3 2/3 innings in Saturday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
Woodruff had been in the midst of a steady stretch on the mound, holding opponents scoreless in three of his last four starts, but will now return to the injured list due to the same labrum injury that sidelined him early in the season. The right-hander offered manager Pat Murphy another impactful starting option alongside Jacob Misiorowski and Kyle Harrison at the top of the Brewers rotation, carrying a 2.98 ERA and 0.84 WHIP with a 2-2 record and 9.3 K/9 ratio across nine starts.
