Tigers right-hander Justin Verlander has been named to the American League All-Star roster as a legend pick. (MLB on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Verlander has made just one start for the Tigers this season due to hip and hamstring injuries, but while he continues his rehab, he will head to Philadelphia to participate in the All-Star festivities next week. The future Hall of Famer has previously appeared in nine Midsummer Classics, the most recent of which came with the Astros in 2022.
