Jake Rogers homers in win over Athletics Wednesday

Tigers catcher Jake Rogers went 2-for-2 with a two-run homer and an additional run scored in a 6-1 win over the Athletics on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
All-Star catcher Dillon Dingler started behind the plate for the Tigers on Wednesday, but took a foul tip off the hand in the second innings. As a result, Rogers entered the game and promptly clubbed a two-run homer in his first at-bat of the contest. He added a single and scored on Spencer Torkelson's three-run homer in the fifth frame. Due to Dingler's meteoric rise this season, Rogers hasn't seen much playing time, slashing .160/.239/.284 with two homers, nine runs, eight RBI, and a stolen base through just 93 trips to the plate.
