Ryne Nelson is scheduled to undergo an MRI on July 17 to evaluate the progress of his elbow recovery. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Nelson was placed on the injured list June 19 with a right UCL sprain after experiencing elbow discomfort while throwing a pitch during his June 16 outing. He has been shut down since, and the Diamondbacks are expected to provide an update on his recovery plan once they receive his MRI results.
