Carson Whisenhunt allowed two earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out four over 5 2/3 innings in Thursday’s 8-2 win over the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
Whisenhunt was steady on the mound after being called back up, allowing less than three earned runs in each of his two trips to the mound. The left-hander has benefited from good luck while fighting inconsistent control when called on to toe the rubber for manager Tony Vitello, posting a 3.38 ERA and 1.41 WHIP with a 2-0 record and 1.00 K/BB ratio through two starts.
