Victor Mesa Jr. went 3-for-4 with a home run, one run scored, one RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 7-2 win over the Seattle Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Mesa had himself an evening, recording his first three-hit game of the season, which included a 392-foot homer off Luis Castillo in the fifth inning. He's been great in July, posting a .280/.345/.560 slash line with two homers. He's started for the Tampa Bay Rays in four of their last five games, making him a nice short-term option while he's swinging a hot bat.
