Yastrzemski has been on the IL since July 10 due to elbow inflammation, but the veteran outfielder may return to the Braves' lineup when first eligible, according to manager Walt Weiss. Yastrzemski was heating up at the dish when he went down, going 7-for-20 with two homers and two doubles over the previous seven games.
