Giants right-hander Trevor McDonald's MRI revealed a moderate UCL sprain, and he will seek a second opinion. (Susan Slusser on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
McDonald has been waiting on his MRI results for a couple of days, and the results aren't exactly encouraging, especially since a second opinion is being sought. McDonald has posted a 5.12 ERA in 14 starts for the Giants this season, although his 4.16 xFIP and 4.13 SIERA suggest he has been better than his surface ERA indicates.
