Jacob Lopez allowed one hit and four walks while striking out four over five innings in Friday's 2-0 win over the Twins.

Lopez has settled down on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in four of his last six trips to the mound. The left-hander remains difficult to trust as part of an underwhelming Athletics rotation for manager Mark Kotsay, carrying a 6.12 ERA and 1.67 WHIP with a 5-4 record and 1.3 K/BB ratio across 16 appearances.
