Esteury Ruiz went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two stolen bases in Saturday's 7-2 loss against the San Diego Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Ruiz drew the start in right field and made the most of his opportunity, recording two hits while swiping second base twice to put himself in scoring position. He came around to score the Miami Marlins' only two runs of the game. While he has been limited to just 110 at-bats this season, Ruiz owns an impressive .853 OPS to go along with 24 stolen bases. Although his speed gives him nice fantasy upside, his inconsistent playing time makes him best left on the waiver wire for now.
