Freddy Peralta allowed two earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three across four innings in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Fantasy Impact:
While Peralta wasn't lights out on Sunday in a tough matchup against the Dodgers, he turned in a much better performance than his previous outing, when he allowed seven earned runs against the Milwaukee Brewers. Even so, the veteran right-hander has struggled this month, posting a 6.85 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in July. He'll look to record his first quality start since June 3 when he takes the mound on Friday against a Miami Marlins club that has lost 12 straight games.
