Janson Junk mows down six Sunday

Janson Junk allowed one run on seven hits and no walks while striking out six across 4.2 innings in Sunday's 5-3 loss against the San Diego Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Junk did a nice job working out of trouble on Sunday, stranding two runners in the second inning, one in the third and two more in the fourth. It was a strong bounce-back performance after he surrendered six earned runs in his previous start against the Houston Astros. On the season, the right-hander owns a 4.89 ERA and 1.36 WHIP. His next scheduled start is on Friday against the New York Mets.
