Zack Wheeler gave up five runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six over just three innings in Monday's 8-7 loss to the Marlins.
Fantasy Impact:
Wheeler just didn't have it Monday night, as his velocity was significantly down and manager Don Mattingly pulled him after three frames. Reports after the game suggested Wheeler was fine physically. This was Wheeler's shortest outing of the season to date, and just the fourth time in 17 starts that he's allowed more than two earned runs. The ace righty will move forward with an excellent 2.53 ERA and 0.92 WHIP.
