Walbert Urena allowed one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings in Monday’s loss to the Astros.

Urena continues an impressive stretch on the mound, allowing one earned run or less in each of his last four contests. The right-hander has offered manager Kurt Suzuki one of the more stable options in a disappointing Angels rotation, carrying a 2.70 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with a 6-7 record, 8.5 K/9 ratio, and 1.8 K/BB ratio across 19 appearances.
