Kevin McGonigle homers, scores twice and knocks in two Friday

Tigers infielder Kevin McGonigle went 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks, two runs scored, and two RBI in a 13-1 rout of the A's on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
McGonigle walked in his first at-bat of the contest before going deep for a solo home run in the second to game the game at one at the time. He would add a sac fly in the fourth inning before scoring his additional run on a Dillon Dingler grand slam in the eighth. The rookie continues to stuff the stat sheet for fantasy owners, hitting .285 with 10 home runs, 68 runs scored, 39 RBI, and an .813 OPS on the season. Perhaps most impressive in the fact his walk rate (14.1%) exceeds his strikeout rate (13.9%) at just 21 years of age.
