Ryan, the Dodgers' No. 7 prospect and No. 68 in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline, has been dealt to the Tigers along with outfield prospect Zyhir Hope and fellow right-handed prospect Brady Smith in exchange for the two-time reigning AL Cy Young winner. Ryan, who missed the 2025 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery and has missed time this season with hamstring issues, has posted a 4.46 ERA, albeit alongside a 2.88 FIP, with 43 strikeouts across eight starts and 36 1/3 innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City this season.
