Cristian Javier allowed three earned runs on seven hits while striking out two over six innings in Monday’s loss to the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Javier has struggled to miss opposing bats of late, allowing at least three earned runs in each of his last two starts. The right-hander remains another underwhelming arm in the Astros rotation for manager Joe Espada, posting a 6.59 ERA and 1.68 WHIP with a 1-2 record and 1.5 K/BB ratio through nine appearances.
