Shota Imanaga allowed four runs on six hits and no walks while striking out five across 4.2 innings in Tuesday's 8-6 victory over the Washington Nationals.

Imanaga gave up more than two runs in a game for the first time since June 24. The issue for him was the long ball, as he allowed three homers: a two-run shot by C.J. Abrams in the first inning, a solo homer by Jacob Young in the third and a solo shot by Dylan Crews in the fifth. In 137.1 innings this season, the lefty owns a 3.74 ERA and 1.10 WHIP with 130 strikeouts. His next scheduled start is on Sunday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
