Cristopher Sanchez fired six shutout innings in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Cardinals, giving up four hits and no walks while striking out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
Sanchez certainly deserved a win for his efforts Tuesday night, but the Phillies' bats were unable to generate any offense. Sanchez lowered his season ERA to 2.54 with this performance, and the All-Star lefty has now allowed just two runs while racking up 24 strikeouts across 17 innings here in August. He'll likely return to the mound Monday opposite Miami.
