Zack Wheeler gave up five runs (four earned) on six hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings in Wednesday's 7-1 loss to the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Wheeler was sub-par again Wednesday afternoon, as he's now surrendered at least four earned runs in three of his last four outings. The veteran righty has pitched to a 7.63 ERA during this rough patch, but he has still registered 20 strikeouts across 15 1/3 innings. Wheeler will once again try to right the ship Tuesday against the Marlins.
