Andrew Painter delivers excellent effort in Monday's win

Andrew Painter gave up two runs on just two hits and three walks while striking out six over 5 1/3 innings in Monday's 6-5 win against the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Painter found a serious groove on the mound Monday night, firing five no-hit frames before surrendering a pair of runs on a couple of hits in the sixth. Even though the Philly bullpen made things tense in the late innings once again, Painter did ultimately come away with his second win of the season. The rookie right-hander has been much improved over three starts since returning to the bigs at the end of July, posting a 2.93 ERA and 0.98 WHIP with 16 strikeouts across 15 1/3 innings.
