Ryan Johnson allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out five over 4 1/3 innings in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
Johnson has settled down on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in six of his last nine contests. The right-hander remains another inconsistent arm in the Angels rotation for manager Kurt Suzuki to this point, posting a 6.71 ERA and 1.56 WHIP with a 2-6 record and 7.0 K/9 ratio across 14 appearances.
