Dylan Cease allowed three earned runs on five hits and four walks while striking out seven over five innings in Tuesday’s 5-3 win over the Red Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease continues a strong stretch of late, allowing one earned run or less in five of his last seven trips to the mound. The right-hander offers manager John Schneider one of the few impactful arms in a revamped Blue Jays rotation after the trade deadline, carrying a 2.40 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with a 7-5 record and 13.1 K/9 ratio across 22 starts.
