Rays manager Kevin Cash said Griffin Jax had "a very, very good day (Friday)," throwing at a distance of up to 120 feet (Marc Topkin on Twitter)

Jax is on the injured list with right elbow discomfort. The Rays will draw up a build up plan for him.
