Reid Detmers allowed two hits while striking out 11 over eight scoreless innings in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Detmers has settled down on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in five of his last six trips to the mound. The left-hander offers manager Kurt Suzuki one of the more steady arms as part of an underwhelming Angels rotation, posting a 3.78 ERA and 1.06 WHIP to go with a 4-8 record and 10.5 K/9 ratio across 25 starts.
