MacKenzie Gore allowed three earned runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out five over 5 2/3 innings in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.

Gore continues an underwhelming stretch on the mound, allowing three earned runs or more in six of his last nine contests. The left-hander remains one of many inconsistent arms in the Rangers rotation for manager Skip Schumaker, posting a 4.45 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with a 7-9 record and 9.9 K/9 ratio across 26 starts.
