Kevin Gausman allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five across 4.1 innings in Tuesday's 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Gausman pitched a clean first inning but then allowed a run in each of the next three innings before being pulled in the fifth after reaching 86 pitches. He’s now made three starts with the Chicago Cubs and has struggled, posting a 6.19 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with 16 strikeouts across 16 innings. His next scheduled start is on Monday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
