Jack Perkins allowed one hit and one walk while striking out four over 3 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Perkins continues an underwhelming stretch of late, allowing three earned runs or more in six of his last eight trips to the mound. The right-hander remains difficult to trust as another disappointing arm despite flashing dynamic swing-and-miss stuff at times for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 6.96 ERA and 1.48 WHIP with a 2-9 record, 10.3 K/9 ratio, and .825 OPS allowed across 30 appearances.
