Cristian Javier allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five over four innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Angels.
Fantasy Impact:
Javier continues a dismal stretch of late, allowing three earned runs or more in two of his last three contests. The right-hander remains another underwhelming arm in the Astros rotation for manager Joe Espada, posting a 6.44 ERA and 1.68 WHIP with a 1-4 record and .874 OPS allowed across 11 appearances.
