AJ Smith-Shawver was tagged with four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three across 4 1/3 innings in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith-Shawver pitched well enough through the first four innings of Wednesday afternoon's start. Things began to get away from him a bit in the fifth frame however, as he walked in a run that gave the Twins a 2-1 lead before exiting. Two additional runs were changed to Smith-Shawver after he left the game. The 23-year-old righty has now made two starts for the Braves this season, surrendering six runs on nine hits and five walks with seven strikeouts across 8 2/3 innings.
