Martin Perez knocked around in first inning Monday night

Martin Perez gave up four runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
Perez had been completely locked in on the mound coming into this start, as he had rolled off 16 straight scoreless innings. Well, that groove ended quickly on Monday, as he immediately surrendered four runs while allowing the first six batters he faced to reach. Perez did impressively rebound after that, holding the Twins to those four runs over the next five frames. The Braves' bats, however, were unable to overcome the four-run deficit. Perez still holds a nice 3.15 ERA and 1.19 WHIP through 24 games (20 starts) on the season. He's scheduled for a tough assignment this weekend in Milwaukee.
