David Peterson allowed two earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out eight across six innings in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Seattle Mariners.
Fantasy Impact:
Peterson pitched 1.1 innings of relief Monday, but with Edward Cabrera (blister) landing on the injured list, he drew the start and was brilliant once again. He gave up a home run to Randy Arozarena in the first inning but bounced back, allowing just one more run the rest of the way. He's posted a 2.66 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 26 strikeouts across 23.2 innings in August. He could draw another start during the weekend series against the Cincinnati Reds.
