Patrick Sandoval allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six over 5 2/3 innings in Saturday's win over the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
Sandoval has provided mixed results on the mound of late, allowing four or more runs in two of his last four contests. The left-hander remains one of the more inconsistent options as part of a steady Red Sox rotation for manager Chad Tracy, posting a 4.54 ERA and 1.76 WHIP with a 1-2 record, .866 OPS allowed, and 9.3 K/9 ratio through eight starts.
