Andrew Painter delivers career-best performance Saturday

Andrew Painter allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks while striking out eight over seven innings in Saturday's 12-3 win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Painter not only matched a career high in strikeouts Saturday, but the rookie right-hander finished off seven full frames for the first time as a big leaguer. He surrendered just one run, dropping his ERA to 3.62 over five starts since the Phillies brought him back up from the minors late last month. Painter certainly appears ready to fully assert himself at the highest level. He's in line to be back on the mound Friday against the Angels.
