Cal Quantrill allowed six hits while striking out six over six scoreless innings in Sunday's win over the Angels.

Quantrill continues a strong stretch of late, allowing two earned runs or less in each of his last seven trips to the mound. The right-hander has turned around an inconsistent start to the season as part of an un-and-down Rangers pitching staff for manager Skip Schumaker, posting a 2.90 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with a 6-4 record and .642 OPS allowed through 27 appearances.
